Built a core working team to co‑develop the vision for a technology‑enabled IES offering and assessed the market opportunity and competitive landscape.

Defined the capabilities required then interviewed department heads and surveyed teams across nine departments globally to map strengths and gaps.

Developed an IES business plan, build/buy/partner scenarios, acquisition and licensing criteria and a shortlist of targets, and turned this into a board‑ready business case and investment recommendations.

Impact

The board signed off on the leadership team’s proposal and path to establish a coherent, growth‑oriented, technology‑enabled IES solution.
